Spring 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most remarkable seasons in luxury hospitality in years. From fashion houses making their debut in Paris to ancient palazzos being reborn in Venice, the hotels opening this season aren't just places to sleep — they're destinations in themselves.
Whether you're planning a honeymoon, a milestone anniversary, or simply a trip that deserves to be done properly, these are the openings worth booking your travel around. Here's what's on my radar — and what I'm already helping clients plan.
1. Louis Vuitton Hotel — Paris, France 🇫🇷
Opening: Spring 2026
The most talked-about hotel opening in years. Louis Vuitton is making its most ambitious move into hospitality yet, planting its flag on the Champs-Élysées with a property that's set to redefine what luxury even means. Expect approximately 90 rooms and suites designed around the house's legacy of craftsmanship and travel heritage — think custom-made furnishings, artisanal detailing, private salons, and art installations throughout. This isn't a hotel with a Louis Vuitton gift shop. This is Louis Vuitton as a complete world.
Who it's for: Couples who want Paris done at the highest level. The kind of honeymoon you'll still be talking about in twenty years.
2. Waldorf Astoria Admiralty Arch — London, UK 🇬🇧
Opening: Spring 2026
Positioned at the end of The Mall directly opposite Buckingham Palace, this is one of London's most historic and coveted buildings finally opening its doors as a hotel. Originally commissioned by King Edward VII in memory of Queen Victoria, Admiralty Arch has been sensitively restored and transformed into 100 rooms and suites. Restaurants are overseen by Clare Smyth MBE and Daniel Boulud. The presidential suite looks directly over Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square. London has a lot of great hotels. This one is in a different conversation.
Who it's for: Travelers who want history, prestige, and a London address that simply cannot be beaten.
3. Six Senses London — London, UK 🇬🇧
Opening: Spring 2026
Six Senses has built its global reputation on doing wellness better than anyone else on the planet. Their London debut — set inside a stunning Art Deco building — brings that same obsessive approach to wellbeing into the heart of one of the world's greatest cities. Think magnesium-infused pools, cutting-edge spa programming, and 109 rooms designed around rest and restoration. This is the hotel for the traveler who wants to come home from their trip actually feeling better than when they left.
Who it's for: Wellness-focused couples and travelers who want luxury without sacrificing how they feel.
4. Amanvari — Baja California, Mexico 🇲🇽
Opening: Spring 2026
Aman's long-awaited debut in Mexico arrives on the East Cape of Baja California, where the desert meets the Sea of Cortez. Just 18 suites set across 18 acres of rolling farmland, with sweeping views of the Sierra de La Laguna mountains. Mexican artisan design, longevity-focused wellness, a dedicated beach, yacht club access, and the kind of silence that only Aman seems able to deliver. This is the most romantic new opening in the Americas this spring — and the ideal alternative for couples who keep looking at Cabo and feeling like something's missing.
Who it's for: Honeymooners and couples who want Mexico at its most elevated and unhurried.
5. Capella Kyoto — Kyoto, Japan 🇯🇵
Opening: Spring 2026
Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Kengo Kuma, Capella Kyoto transforms a former elementary school site in the city's historic Miyagawa-cho district into an 89-room hotel that feels like a living work of art. Inner courtyards, shoji screens, tokonoma alcoves, and a dramatic karahafu roof anchor the experience. Three restaurants follow the rhythm of the seasons. The spa is built around traditional Japanese bathing rituals. Kyoto has many great hotels. This one is in a category of its own.
Who it's for: Design-focused travelers and couples who want Japan done at the absolute highest level.
6. Airelles Palladio — Venice, Italy 🇮🇹
Opening: April 2026
Airelles makes its debut outside France with a secluded retreat on Venice's Giudecca Island, overlooking St. Mark's Basilica. Forty-five rooms and suites, three pools, a wellness garden spa, and dining concepts from Nobu, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, and Norbert Niederkofler. French-Venetian interiors, private water taxi transfers, and views that belong on a canvas. For couples, this is the Venice experience — removed from the tourist crowds but right in the heart of it all.
Who it's for: Romantics, honeymooners, and anyone who wants Venice the way it was always meant to be experienced.
7. Delano Miami Beach — Miami Beach, USA 🇺🇸
Opening: April 2026
One of Miami's most iconic hotels is back — and it's been reimagined from the ground up. The Delano returns with 171 redesigned rooms that honor its Art Deco roots through terrazzo floors and sculptural columns while bringing everything fully into 2026. A revived Rose Bar, a modern members' club, multiple dining venues, and that legendary pool scene. If you've been to the old Delano, you'll love what it's become. If you haven't, now is exactly the time to go.
Who it's for: Style-conscious travelers who want Miami done with taste.
8. Rosewood Blue Palace — Crete, Greece 🇬🇷
Opening: Spring 2026
The former Blue Palace resort has been reimagined as a Rosewood property, bringing the brand's signature Asaya Spa, six restaurants and bars, and private pools to most of the 154 guestrooms. The charming fishing village of Plaka is within easy reach. Crete offers everything the Greek islands are famous for — the light, the sea, the food, the romance — without the crowds that have overtaken Santorini and Mykonos. For honeymooners and couples looking for an elevated Greek escape, this is the most exciting new option in the Aegean.
Who it's for: Greece lovers who want to go beyond the obvious islands.
